9th Annual Gulf South Open Call Exhibition

Celebrate the opening of Remember Earth? the CAC's 9th Annual Gulf South Open Call Exhibition featuring works by 54 artists that explore the complexities of living in an environment already experiencing the ravages of an out-of-balance world.

Join us for the Opening Night Celebration during the Fidelity Bank White Linen Night featuring DJ Boy Toy, cash bars, and more Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 6:30 – 10pm. Admission is free and open to the public, RSVP’s are recommended.

CAC Members are invited to a very special Champagne Toast at 6pm.

Curated by CAC Multidisciplinary Arts Curator Erin Lee Antonak, Remember Earth? addresses the environmental crisis as a cultural challenge. The the exhibition's artists are storytellers, scientists, teachers, advocates, and activists who use the language of art to connect with people on a personal level, inspire action, and effect change.

CAC Members are invited to a special champagne toast at 6 pm to kick off the Opening Celebration, before doors open to the general public. Members: please RSVP here if you plan to attend the toast.
