Curated by the CAC Teen Board, the 2018 CAC Teen Exhibition features work by emerging local artists offers a unique moment of reflection on the relationship between young people and the cities they call home.

The CAC Teen Board is also hosting a one-night-only screening of films from the New Orleans Center of Creative Arts freshman media arts class, responding to the exhibition’s theme.

Our community partner, public art and history project Paper Monuments, will be tabling with crafts, public response forms, and and free posters.

Paper Monuments is a public art and public history project which uses art and storytelling to propose answers to the question, “What is an appropriate monument for the city of New Orleans today? Check out their gallery, and keep an eye on their Open Calls.
