Su Ecenia

Su Ecenia received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in 1981. She worked as a Post Surgical and Home Health Care nurse for 9 years in Tallahassee, Florida. Ecenia much prefers painting over nursing. Her first exhibition was in 1994- Combined Talents: The Florida National at Florida State University Museum in Tallahassee, Florida. In 1996, she co-exhibited at 621 Gallery in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2018, she was one of three artists in a exhibition entitled Power of Three at LeMoyne Art Center in Tallahassee, Florida. And most recently, she was included in the 2020 exhibition Make America What America Must Become at the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
