The CAC and New Orleans public art and history project Paper Monuments ask visitors to submit written and artistic responses to the question, "What is a person, place, movement or event you believe New Orleans should remember?"

Young Professional Happy Hour Meet-up – 6:30pm–7:30pm, Lobby

During this special happy hour, meet members of the Hispanic Young Professionals of Louisiana (HYPLA) and learn about their commitment to the young Hispanic professionals’ community through networking, mentorship and educational resources.

Collected Stacks – 6:30-9pm, The Stacks Bookstore

Be sure to check out Collected Stacks, our new monthly series that features a book selection curated by a local artist. This month, artist Brooke Pickett shares selections from her book collection.

Latin Jazz Jam Session – 7-9pm, Atrium

In anticipation of Miguel Zenon’s Típico performance, José Fermín Afro-Dominican Jazz Band performs a special set that blends Latin jazz with merengue, salsa, and bachata sounds. Featuring special guests.
