Sam Spahr

Sam Spahr is a Louisiana born and based artist currently working in photography. After earning her BFA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she continued to study art theory, critique, and education at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD where she received her MA. Spahr indulges in the both the simplicity and experimental qualities of photography by employing digital, analog, and alternative processes in her practice. Her photographs and writing have been featured in local magazines and nationally acclaimed blogs and online communities.
