Joie Noire: "Prelude to a Glorious Revolution" | SUNDAY VIBES at the CAC

You are invited to join us at SUNDAY VIBES at the CAC for a special presentation of Joie Noire: "Prelude to a Glorious Revolution," dance experience written and performed by Greer Goff Mendy, Director of the Tekrema Center. "Prelude to a Glorious Revolution" is an artistic statement of history, spirituality, and societal liberation of the Black female body through dance. The performance will take place inside the exhibition Femmes Feroces: Material Life x Femmes Noires, on view now inside the CAC Oval Gallery.

Admission to this event is free and open to the public and is part of SUNDAY VIBES at the CAC, a weekly opportunity for Louisiana residents to enjoy programming at the CAC free of charge, courtesy of The Helis Foundation.
