Momma Tried is an interdisciplinary art collaboration focused on site-specific installations and an artist periodical by the same name, rooted in constructivism and the confrontation of cooperative fictions such as gender identity and memory. Recent projects include the production of four imposter radio art pieces for the O, Miami poetry festival (2016), and a 1500 square foot interactive installation and exploration of collective memory at Pelican Bomb Gallery X (2016), New Orleans. Momma Tried magazine is stocked in locations that include the Tate Modern in London, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Printed Matter in New York, and Closing Ceremony in Shanghai, and the artworks of Momma Tried have been exhibited internationally, including the CICA Museum, South Korea; Think Tank Gallery, Los Angeles; and Cooper Union, New York.
