Frahn Koerner

Koerner holds a BFA from Tulane University and an MFA from the University of New Orleans: majoring in painting with a minor in photography. She has taught at Tulane University and the University of New Orleans. Koerner spoke at Tulane’s Women Making Waves on "Artistic Expressions of Resiliency.” Koerner’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Arthur Roger Gallery, New Orleans Museum of Art, Mobile Museum of Art, Lamar University Gallery, Biennale Internazionale Dell’ Arte Contemporanea, Galerie Im Andechshof, Wiregrass Museum of Art, Tulane University Carroll Gallery, Taller Duende Art Center, Acadiana Center for the Arts, Loyola University’s Diboll Art Gallery, Montgomery College Rockville Gallery, Space 301, Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, and Contemporary Arts Center among others. Koerner’s work is in the permanent collection of the Historic New Orleans Collection and the Arts Council of New Orleans. Koerner was an artist-in-residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute and Louisiana ArtWorks. Frahn Koerner Studios was chosen as a Satellite Project for International Art Triennial Prospect.2 and Prospect.3+ New Orleans. Koerner’s artwork is collected throughout the USA and Europe.
