Ernest Joshua Littles is a native of New Orleans, and was raised in its Lower Ninth Ward community.
In 2014, he earned a BA in Visual Arts from Dillard University (New Orleans, LA). While attending Dillard, Littles served as a teaching assistant at Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary and Joseph A. Craig Elementary, was an artist assistant for New Orleans artist, Bob Tannen, and he participated in the curating of several exhibitions on and off campus. Littles curated his graduating class’ thesis show at Dillard and Pop! Right in the Kisser! at Antenna Gallery (New Orleans, LA), and co-curated HEIIR at Good Children Gallery (New Orleans, LA) along with artists Tameka Norris and Breanna Thompson. Since 2013, Littles has been active at the Joan Mitchell Center, assisting with community programs and working as an art preparator and docent. He is also an organizing member of Antenna Gallery in the New Orleans’ St. Claude Arts District.
