David Bordett

David Bordett is an American sculptor (b.1991) from Fincastle, Virginia, a small town in the Shenandoah Valley region of the Appalachian Mountains. He grew up in a 17th century log cabin surrounded by his father's eclectic collections of Americana art and furniture accumulated from throughout the region. In 2009 Bordett moved to Richmond, Virginia, to study at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Department of Sculpture and Extended Media where he received his BFA in 2013. In 2015, Bordett moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he currently lives and works out of his home studio in the Saint Roch neighborhood.
