Encompassing installation, painting, and works on paper, Chang’s work attempts to reconcile her experience of displacement, beauty and Chinese heritage through meditative process of making, irregular geometry, and abstract landscape. Originally from Taiwan, Chung-Fan Chang holds a BFA from Taipei National University of the Arts, and an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. She is the recipient of the Mississippi Arts Commission Visual Arts Fellow, and Integrative Teaching International TT7 Emerging Educator Fellowship. In additional to her own practice, Chang is an Assistant Professor at Stockton University.
