Gabrielle Garcia Steib

Gabrielle Garcia Steib is a writer and photographer from New Orleans, Louisiana, frequenting Managua, Nicaragua. Her work explores womanhood within the parallels of her maternal ancestors through the lens of grief, autonomy, cultural identity, language, hyper-sexualization, and the body as a space. She has taught workshops in New York City and most recently started the first bilingual column in Antigravity Magazine as an effort to preserve the culture and history of Latinxs in New Orleans.
