KM Dance Project (KMDP) presents An Evening of Dance
Featuring the works of emerging New Orleans choreographers – Catherine Caldwell, Jeremy Guyton, Kehinde Ishangi, Kesha McKey and apprentice choreographer Ceylon Seiber.
These bodies of work encompass revealing the inner wounding and struggle to find humanity after war, the emotional connection/disparity between father and daughter with focus on the effects of love, trust, understanding, faith and disappointment, and an exploration of the unique intersection of race, gender and sexuality, within the complicated perception of identity.
