Co-presented with the NOFS as part of their 6-film series at the CAC, entitled Power and Resistance. The series spotlights films about individuals and organizations unafraid to stand up, fight back, and start revolutions both large and small.

With a cast including Candy Darling, Jackie Curtis, Holly Woodlawn, and Penny Arcade, this 1972 satire follows three women who, inspired by the Women’s Lib movement, give up men and organize a militant feminist group.

This screening will be followed by a conversation with actress/performer Penny Arcade and CAC Curator of Performance Arts Raelle Myrick-Hodges.
