Leo is a 2018 GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, has been nominated four times to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and is known as “The Innovator of Syncopated Funk" -- the highly-influential groove that defined The Meters' revolutionary sound.
