This year the Contemporary Arts Center and title sponsor Hancock Whitney commemorate 25 years of experiencing art, building community, and celebrating culture in the Arts District New Orleans on August 3, 2019! Hancock Whitney White Linen Night is an annual outdoor celebration of art and artists in the Arts District New Orleans, featuring gallery openings, public art displays, food vendors, and much more! Proceeds from the event support the Contemporary Arts Center.
Art in Focus: Celebrating 25 Years of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night and the Arts District New Orleans

In anticipation of the 25th anniversary of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night, you are invited to join us for a special reception honoring the legacy of gallery owner Arthur Roger and the support of art collector and actress CCH Pounder on Thursday, August 1 at the CAC! Our expert panel will also explore the impact of 25 years of White Linen Night on art, collecting, and our local economy and community. Admission is free and open to the public.

Explore curated art exhibitions at more than 20 art galleries and institutions on the 300 - 700 blocks of Julia Street and throughout the Arts District New Orleans! Enjoy local cuisine and cocktails from more than 30 local vendors. The block party is free and open to the public (rain or shine). Food and drink tickets available for purchase in advance or at the event.

Cool off with an art-inspired VIP experience at Auction House Market, just off the hustle and bustle of Julia Street. Tickets include two drinks, light bites, seating, air conditioning, restroom, and complimentary access White Linen After Dark, the official after party of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night. Tickets are $40 for CAC Members and for $50 the general public.
CAC Open Call Exhibition: Identity Measures
5:30–9:30 pm | Contemporary Arts Center (900 Camp Street, New Orleans)
Curated by guest curator Dr. Jordan Amirkhani of American University, Identity Measures features works by 20+ local and regional artists and will explore identity as complex entanglements of lived experiences based on race, gender, ability, sexuality, and class. Every year, the CAC's Open Call exhibition brings together vibrant works from artists across the New Orleans region, according to a theme relevant to our community and the times in which we live. Ticketing Policies and Procedures
Ticket Pick Up
Tickets for the Cool Down Lounge, White Linen After Dark, and food & drink tickets may be picked up in advance at the front desk of the Contemporary Arts Center (located at 900 Camp St.) until Saturday, August 3 at 12:00 pm.
Beginning at 5:30 pm on August 3, tickets will be available for pick up until 9:30 pm on the street at the Contemporary Arts Center tent, located on the 600 block of Julia Street.
Ticket Use/Refund Policy
- Tickets are only valid for Hancock Whitney White Linen Night on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Tickets are not valid for any future occurrences of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night.
- All sales are final -- no refunds
