NOLA Nerdlesque is a two-day performance festival that celebrates and satirizes pop culture and nerdy properties. Performers from across the country will take part in four themed burlesque revues, based on different genres and characters.

Nerdlesque is a form of burlesque that parodies pop culture, particularly beloved geeky territories like comic books and video games. Nerdlesque has its roots in classic burlesque parody and the neo-burlesque movement. It celebrates and empowers performers and audiences of all shapes and sizes. Nerdlesque is daring, sexy, intelligent, humorous, and isn't afraid to get a little weird and wild.

Friday, November 3: 8 PM

Just Drawn That Way: Cartoons used to give you a reason to get up early on Saturday morning; now they're giving you a reason to stay up late! Join us for a ridiculously fun night of burlesque dedicated to cartoons and comic books. Prepare to be dazzled and delighted by Muppets, DC Comics, and classic Hanna Barbera characters brought to life.

Vivacious Villainy: A nerdy burlesque revue filled with all of the characters you love to hate: monsters, murderers, things that go bump and grind in the night. Hosted by Severus Snape himself. There’s something irresistible about being bad.

Saturday, November 4: 8 PM

Tassels, Castles, and Quasars: Join us on a voyage that takes you from Westeros to a Galaxy, Far, Far Away. Time travelers, sorcerers, scientific wonders; the most imaginative performers come together for the most fantastic show around.

Saturday, November 4: 10:30 PM

Stripped Crusaders: Holy rhinestones, Batman! Doing good is hard work, so these heroes are cutting loose. These aren’t your run of the mill heroes - they come from all walks of life, different planets, and different art forms. Let’s be honest, a lot of heroes are just in it for the attention.
