Created by the Contemporary Arts Center in 1980, this annual rite of fall has become one of the best events of the year for art lovers in and around New Orleans.

Art for Arts’ Sake | DOWNTOWN 2017 celebrates a day of art with a master class and dance performances at the CAC, followed by the First Saturday Gallery Openings on Julia Street and throughout the Arts District of New Orleans and the Arts Market Downtown presented by the DDD.

This year, Art for Arts’ Sake DOWNTOWN includes a Gallery Hunt through the Arts District New Orleans! Grab a card from the CAC, Ogden, Arts Market Downtown, or one of the participating galleries, and visit at least one gallery on each block to win fabulous prizes from the Friends of ADNO.
