The Contemporary Arts Center, in collaboration with PhotoNOLA and inspired by the Edward Burtynsky | Water exhibition, will offer a family cyanotype workshop on November 9, 2013. Professional photographers and educators will lead participants through the historic photographic printing process, creating cyanotypes that can become family keepsakes.

The workshop will begin with a guided tour of the Edward Burtynsky | Water exhibition. Students will then divide into two groups for cyanotype making. Participants are encouraged to bring small objects for their compositions, which will be created on 6×6 inch fabric squares.

•Workshop leaders: Courtney Asztalos and Natasha Sanchez
