Creating Socially Engaged Art: Can Dance Change the World?

Join us Saturday, April 6th, from 5-6 PM for a talk with artist and choreographer, David Roussève, as he tracks the political theme within his own work and the evolution of his own choreographic focus on 'the artist as activist'.

Join us for a special Pre-Show Event featuring choreographer, David Roussève, as he talks about the political themes and social messaging within his piece, Halfway to Dawn. After the discussion, Carmo (527 Julia Street) will be offering a 10% discount to performance goers who have RSVP'd. Join us for what is sure to be a riveting conversation on sparking change as an artist and support Halfway to Dawn during its time at the CAC.

This pre-show event is free when you RSVP!
