Join us for Delfeayo & Friends, the CAC’s live bi-weekly happy hour, Live on Zoom, with trombonist and composer Delfeayo Marsalis, featuring musical friends from around the world. In our next episode, Delfeayo will welcome very special guest Leo Nocentelli, the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award-winning lead guitarist and founding member of The Meters!

Leo Nocentelli is a master guitarist, renowned composer and producer, and is the sole composer of the GRAMMY-inducted song, “CISSY STRUT” that gave international recognition to the iconic and legendary funk band The Meters, of which he is a founding member. Leo is a 2018 GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, has been nominated four times to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and is known as “The Innovator of Syncopated Funk" -- the highly-influential groove that defined The Meters' revolutionary sound.
